The hardest of the 7 1/2 things for me is #3 "view problems as challenges". Argggghhhh. I view problems as aggravations, frustrations, irritations, pitas. Let's get on with it; I have NO time to deal with this; I thought this would be easy.
The easiest of the 7 1/2 things for me (besides "Play") is to accept responsibility for my own learning. I'm pretty disciplined and have sacrificed much to learn.
That was a good little session--I particularly liked that I'm never too old to learn.

First day of the rest of my life
Today I am biting the bullet and starting a blog. It seems so public!
Before coming to work I finished Mudbound by Hilary Jordan. It's historical fiction, Southern, post WWII, following two men who returned to the delta and farm labor after having been treated as equals in the war.
I don't know if I'll use it for a book discussion--it's much too violent for my Quaker group--but the library group would "like" it. I put like in quotes because it's a hard topic to like, but the subject was well done. A page turner.
